"Cowboy" James Claxton wins MAIN EVENT!

FEW Champion "Cowboy" James Claxton defeated Haniel Tarver in the main event at Texas Takedown in Tyler, Texas at the Lone Star Event Center in Tyler, Texas.

FEW Southern Heritage Title Officially Retired

Rancid Jack wore the belt with pride on November 14th in Tyler, Texas. It was the last time it will be carried out. The belt that was once a stepping stone to the FEW Championship will be retired and bouts featuring the "Southern Heritage Title Match" will no longer be promoted. The title was created in October 2008 and first held by Spoiler 2000. Khan and Irish Mike have also been Southern Heritage Champions.

Byron Wilcott New Texas Champion

Wilcott, made his return to FEW Wrestling in Tyler, Texas defeating reigning Texas Heavyweight Champion "Cowboy" James Claxton for the title. Wilcott was scheduled to face reigning FEW World Champion Spiro, who didn't appear due to medical reasons. Also making his debut at FEW accompanying Wilcott to the ring was his trainer and manager Mark Wescott.

Though the Texas Heavyweight title is not an FEW sanctioned title we do congratulate Wilcott on the huge victory! The Texas Heavyweight Championship is sanctioned by Texas Wrestling Entertainment and is on of the most coveted championships in pro wrestling. FMI: TexasWrestlingEntertainment.com

Reigning FEW Tag Team Champions Team Strong Style defeated Degeneration Mex at the Lone Star Event Center in Tyler, Texas on August 22nd. It marked the first successful defense of the championships for the team since beating Genesis in Decatur, Texas.

FEW Champion Spiro will not be appearing Sunday at the Lone Star Event Center to scheduling conflicts.

Traveling Texas Heavyweight Champion James Claxton will defend his championship against Byron Wilcott. FEW Southern Heritage Champion Irish Mike will also defend his title against rising star Jacob Kilgore. Team Strong Style will defend their titles against Degeneration Mex

TYLER, TX (KLTV) - The Lone Star Event Center will host the 'Superstars of Wrestling' Sunday night. Tyler's Mark Vaughn is the promoter for Full Effect Wrestling. Vaughn was a wrestler himself and wanted to bring excitement to his hometown. Vaughn says he's bringing former WWE wrestlers to East Texas, and plans on doing it once a month.

Former WWE star Lennox McEnroe, Texas champion James Claxton, Byron Wilcott, Galan Ramirez, Jacob Kilgore and many more are scheduled for the ring.
